instruction by both or either a female and/or a male instructor.
They give you an edge because many dance secrets and pointers
are revealed. Each move is also explained in many different
ways until the student completely understands it.
Private or semi-private lessons are
available by appointment only and the pricing varies depending
on number of people and location.
Beginner Levels
Joel & Jessica introduce the fundamentals of salsa:
rhythm and timing, basic steps or footwork, following
& leading techniques, weight change or weight distribution,
hand placements, posture, framework, spotting, and more.
We have divided our Beginner Classes into 3 Levels.
After completing our beginner classes you should know
all of the basics of Salsa!
Intermediate/Advanced Levels
Joel & Jessica have designed this class for those
who already have a comfortable understanding of all the
elements of the beginning class. We introduce advanced
elements and techniques for leading & following, advanced
footwork, multiple turn combinations, complex move sequences,
spinning, styling and more.
Casino Rueda
Casino Rueda also known as Rueda Casino is a Cuban dance
that began in the mid 20th century. It was popularized
in Miami and it’s now danced all over the world.
What does the name mean? Casino came from when the people
in Cuba used to get together in large halls called “Casinos”
and “Rueda” means wheel. This type of dance
is a form of dance in a round or circle where two or more
couples exchange partners when one person calls out the
turn names. The basic or core steps are danced in a similar
fashion around the world. This type of dance is all about
having fun! Because of the name translation and name difficulty,
we will give you a written outline of the steps learned
each day.
What to Wear for Our
Classes?
We recommend comfortable clothing and leather or other
smooth-bottom shoes to avoid difficulty in executing spins
and turn patterns.
Please NO-tennis shoes or sandals
Where to Park?
There is plenty of free parking |
